Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ROGA Education Management System at roga-edu.vip (the "Service"), operated by ROGA International Pte Ltd ("ROGA", "we", "us"), a company in Singapore. By signing in to or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

The Service is ROGA's private system for running its debate, public speaking and English programmes. It lets students, parents and guardians see timetables, homework, feedback, notes and lesson balances, submit homework and message ROGA staff, and lets ROGA staff manage classes, students and records.

2. Who may use it

  • Accounts are issued by ROGA to enrolled students, their parents or guardians, and ROGA staff. You may use the Service only with an account ROGA has given you.
  • If a student is under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these Terms on the student's behalf and is responsible for the student's use of the Service.
  • Staff use of the Service is also governed by their employment or service agreement with ROGA.

3. Your account

  • Keep your password confidential and do not share your account. You are responsible for activity under your account.
  • Tell us promptly at info@roga-edu.com if you think someone else has used your account.
  • Keep your contact details up to date so you receive class and payment notices.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • upload or send anything unlawful, harmful, abusive, harassing, discriminatory or sexually explicit, or anything that infringes someone else's rights;
  • bully, threaten or impersonate any student, parent or staff member;
  • try to access accounts, records or parts of the Service you are not authorised to see, or test, probe or bypass its security;
  • upload viruses or other harmful code, or overload or disrupt the Service;
  • copy, record, share or publish other people's personal data, messages, recordings or class materials without permission;
  • use the Service for any commercial purpose unrelated to ROGA's programmes.

5. Content you upload

  • You keep ownership of the homework, files, videos and messages you upload ("Your Content").
  • You give ROGA permission to store, copy, display and process Your Content as needed to run the Service and its programmes, for example so teachers can mark homework and give feedback. Homework videos are stored in Google Drive and deleted about 90 days after grading.
  • You confirm you have the right to upload Your Content. We may remove content that breaks these Terms.

6. ROGA materials

Lesson materials, homework, guided notes, feedback templates, the ROGA name and logo, and the Service itself belong to ROGA or its licensors. You may use them only for your own learning (or, for staff, for your work with ROGA). You may not copy, sell, publish or share them outside ROGA without our written permission.

7. Classes, fees and payments

Class places, packages, fees, refunds, make-up lessons and transfers are governed by ROGA's enrolment terms and the package you purchase. The Service shows records of payments and lesson balances; if you believe a record is wrong, contact your course consultant or info@roga-edu.com and we will review it.

8. Third-party services

Some features use services from other companies, such as Google Drive for homework videos and Zoom for online classes. Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. ROGA is not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

9. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal data, including students' data and data received from Google. It forms part of these Terms.

10. Availability and changes to the Service

We work to keep the Service available and accurate, but it may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance, upgrades or reasons beyond our control. We may change, add or remove features at any time.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms, puts others at risk, or when a student's enrolment or a staff member's engagement ends. Records are then kept or deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, ROGA gives no warranties beyond those set out in these Terms and in ROGA's enrolment terms, and ROGA is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data or profits, arising from use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Singapore law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above shows when they last changed, and we will tell users about significant changes through the Service or by email. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
